For the seventh year in a row, readers of the Knot magazine and the website the, the nation's leading bridal website, has named our Grand Hall at the Priory a "Best of the Knot" venue for weddings.

Tripadvisor, the noted travel and tourism website, bestowed on the Priory Hotel its coveted "Certificate of Excellence" for 2013 in early June.  It was the Priory's third year in a row receiving the award, which is based upon unbiased ratings of travelers who have stayed at the hotel.  The Priory's 4.5 star rating out of five stars places it among the top 5% of all hotels rated by Tripadvisor nationwide.

Priory Hospitality Group owner John Graf was named a finalists for the Western Pennsylvania and West Virginia Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award.  This prestigious award, bestowed by the "Big 4" accounting firm, recognizes excellence in creating and building market-leading businesses.

Priory Hospitality Group President & Chief Operating Officer John Graf was honored with the Pennsylvania statewide Wilmer S. Lapp Keystone Award for service to the restaurant and lodging industry at the Pennsylvania Restaurant & Lodging Association's annual awards dinner on November 3, 20013.  

The Grand Hall at the Priory was named a "Best of the Knot" wedding venue for 2014, the Priory's 8th straight year being so honored.

The Priory Hospitality Group was designated as a "Bronze" level "Bike Friendly Business" by the national organization League of American Bicylists.  This award was bestowed because of the Priory Hospitality Group's commitment to physcial fitness for its staff, and for investments to make our Priory Hotel facility easy to use and welcoming for bicycling guests.  The Priory has also been designated a Bike Friendly Business by Bike Pittsburgh.  The Priory Hotel is the only hotel in the Pittsburgh region to have been designated "Bike Friendly" by either organization.

The Grand Hall at the Priory has been designated a "Best of the Knot" business for the sixth straight year in the venue category.  This designation arises from feedback by couples who have held their receptions at the facility. The Priory and Grand Hall are extremely proud of this designation and the positive feedback from our clients that it represents.

The Priory Hotel has just been awarded a "Certificate of Excellence" by for it's consistently high rankings on that popular travel website.  The Certificate of Excellence was based on the Priory Hotel's 4.5 average star rating from the more than 260 guests who have reviewed our property.  According to Tripadvisor, "our travelers consistently commend your property with the highest praise, and we recognize your 4.5 rating as an exceptional acheivement.  Only the very best in the business are awarded a Certificate of Excellence."   

We are extremely proud of this award, as it represents the honest feedback of those who have stayed at our hotel, and we are gratified that they took the time to let others know about our independent, family-owned property.  

For the second straight year, Pittsburgh's Grand Hall at the Priory is named the "Best Restaurant" in Pittsburgh in the banquet facility category by the readers of Pittsburgh magazine.
