Chihuhly at Phipps Package (Through November 11, 2007)

Phipps Conservatory, recently renovated and expanded, is a masterpiece of Victorian architecture, recalling the days of gaslights and carriages.  It houses a world class collection of flowers and other fauna, and is now proud to play host to a glass installation by renowned artist Dale Chihuhly.  With vibrant colors, larger-than-life dimensions and a penchant for creative collaboration, Dale Chihuly has revolutionized the way artists look at glass.  For this exhibition, Chihuly’s glass sculptures are tucked away among the plant life, creating a magical and almost otherwordly landscape.  For many of the rooms, Chihuly created his sculptures expressly for Phipps.

• Two tickets to the Chihuly at Phipps Exhibit (daily (9:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.; also Wednesday, Thursday and Friday Evenings 7:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. (Note:  Tickets are subject to availability; ticket portion of package is non-refundable in the event of cancellation).
