WTAE TV, Pittsburgh's ABC affiliate, broadcaset this story about a Priory hotel guest, Frank McKinney. McKinney is a real estate developer traveling the country promoting his "Survival to Thrival" project. which seeks to transition the homeless to productive lives. As part of his mission, McKinney traded his place at the "posh" Priory with a resident of a local shelter, David Aikens, who was extremely grateful for his night at our facility.
The Priory offers its “Ambassador Club” program for frequent guests. It works like this: Returning guests may sign up for the program and gather points toward a cool prize (IPad, ITouch, IPod, digital camera, etc.). It also puts members in touch with excellent discounts and special offers for Priory stays and overnight packages.
Guests can start earning points the moment they sign up. Points accrue at 1 point for every dollar spent on hotel overnights and add-ons such as food and beverage purchases or purchases of items for sale. Points do not accrue for sales or hotel occupancy tax.
The Priory also offers its Express Check In program for frequent guests, where the guest is pre-registered with us – there’s no telephoning in credit card and contact information and no waiting in line when you arrive. Simply telephone or e-mail that you are coming, and we will have your key waiting for you when you arrive. Seamless.
