The Pittsburgh Business Times named Priory Hospitality Group the Family Owned Business of the Year in the 51-75 employee category. The award was given at a luncheon at the Fairmont Pittsburgh attended by more than three hundred guests. Priory Hospitality Group President & CEO John Graf and Chairman & Founder Ed Graf were present to accept the award. Said John Graf: "It was a real honor to be recognized by this great publication. We take a lot of pride in having multiple generations working at our Priory Hotel, Grand Hall at the Priory, and Priory Fine Pastries, and in the success that each generation has brought to the business."

The Priory Hotel was featured recently in a profile of six hotels worldwide which operate in converted churches. The Priory was one of only three U.S. hotels profiled, as the article focused on properties from the Netherlands to Vietnam.
