Hoople's Public House (Carrick): Positioned on the main street (Brownsville Road) of the south Pittsburgh neighborhood of Carrick, Hoople's founder and proprietor is one of Pittsburgh's most famous persons of Irish descent, Jeffrey McCafferty ("Big Mac"). Known for his massive physical presences (and larger than life personality) retired teacher Big Mac and his team serve excellent pub grub and an authentic Pittsburgh neighborhood experience.
