Michael Henney, Certified Executive Chef, joined Priory Hospitality Group in 1999. Alongside Executive Chef Pete Phillipy, Mike personally oversees food preparation and cooking for events throughout Priory Hospitality Group's properties. Either Mike or Pete is present at every event to ensure that each dish is prepared and presented to the highest standard.
Before joining the Priory, Mike served in a variety of culinary positions at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort in Farmington, Pennsylvania, culminating in his appointment as Executive Chef of the renowned property. He is a graduate of the Community College of Allegheny County's Chefs' Apprenticeship Program.
Mike was featured in Bon Appetit magazine in 1996 and was named Pittsburgh's Most Handsome Chef by the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette in 2003.
