Peter Phillipy, Certified Executive Chef, joined Priory Hospitality Group in 1999. Alongside Executive Chef Michael Henney, Pete personally oversees food preparation and cooking for events throughout Priory Hospitality Group's properties. Either Pete or Mike is present at every event to ensure that each dish is prepared and presented to the highest standard.
Before joining the Priory, Pete held culinary positions at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort and the Hyeholde Restaurant. He graduated from the Baltimore International Culinary Arts Institute in 1983 and completed an internship at The Greenbrier resort in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia, in 1986.
Pete earned his professional certification through the American Culinary Federation in 1995.
